Our story
From a development agency to a connected technology company.

June 2024
Roddy Technologies began in June 2024 as a web development agency, creating websites for businesses of different sizes. Through this work, we saw how difficult it was for many businesses to establish an online presence, automate daily operations and find reliable technical support after launch.
As we learned more about how businesses managed their customers and teams, we identified a wider problem. Businesses did not only need websites. They needed dependable systems that could support operations, convert users into customers and keep working even when the business owner was away.
This inspired a bigger vision: to build, manage and scale digital platforms with our customers through one connected technology infrastructure.

Along the way
Along the way, we discovered another challenge. Digital products and services were still difficult to access across Cameroon, Nigeria and other African markets. To address this, we created RShopRefill and began developing its first minimum viable product in 2024.
RShopRefill was designed to make digital products accessible through both local and international payment methods. These include MTN Mobile Money and Orange Money in Cameroon, bank transfers and cards in Nigeria, as well as cryptocurrency options for eligible users.

Following an extended period of development, testing and compliance preparation, RShopRefill officially launched in 2026.
