Payments

RShopRefill takes payment only through established payment gateways. The gateway processes the payment; Roddy never sees or stores your card number.

  • Flutterwave Cards, bank transfers and mobile money, including MTN Mobile Money and Orange Money.
  • Paystack Cards, bank transfers and mobile money, on Paystack's own hosted checkout.
  • Kora Cards, bank transfers and mobile money, on Kora's own hosted checkout.
  • NOWPayments Cryptocurrency payments.

How a payment is processed

  1. You pay on the gateway's own secure checkout. Card details go to the gateway, not to Roddy, and we never store card numbers.

  2. Before an order is delivered, we confirm the payment directly with the gateway: the reference, the amount and the currency must all match. Every notification a gateway sends us is checked against its signature.

  3. If an order can't be delivered, the amount you paid goes back to your RShopRefill wallet and you are told. Read the refund policy

Security practices

How RShopRefill protects your account and your money.

  • New-device sign-in codes. Signing in from a device we have not seen before asks for a one-time code sent to your email, on the website and through the API alike.

  • A wait on new devices. A new device waits 24 hours before it can change security settings or move money out.

  • Verified payments only. Orders are delivered only after the gateway confirms the payment, as set out above.

  • No passwords in plain text. Passwords and transaction PINs are stored only as one-way hashes.

Data protection and privacy

  • Identity documents stay with the specialist. When RShopRefill verifies who you are, a specialist verification provider checks your documents through its own secure flow. We keep only the outcome, not your documents.

  • Your data, on request. You can download a copy of your RShopRefill data from your dashboard at any time.

  • Messages to us. What you send through this website's contact form is kept as an enquiry for our team and used to reply to you.

Reporting a vulnerability

If you believe you have found a security vulnerability in any Roddy product or website, email us with the subject "Security report" and enough detail for us to reproduce it. A person on our team reads every report.

We ask that you

  • do not access, change or delete other people's data;
  • do not disrupt our services or other users;
  • give us reasonable time to fix the issue before sharing it publicly.
